I have a single 10" jl 10w3v3 4ohm in a sealed box being pushed by a pioneer 300x1 at 4ohm, 600x1 2ohm amp, and it sounds pretty good, but occasionally hear it pop (rarely). I know the w6 is dual 4ohm (2ohm) so it would use more of the amp... but from those who have them, are they worth the upgrade price? I have someone local to me offering to sell a used one for $100

Well yoyu really will not hear the difference but you sub may have a blown voice coil and it might be a good idea to have a spare to swap out if it goes out. I know the air space is different on the w6 the the w3 so you need to check on that first. good luck
