Ok, so here is my problem. I used to have a 160gb iPod classic, and when using the lexus ipod adapter in my 08 IS250, i could go to a specific artist, and the tracks would be in the same order as they were on the cd.. it would go through each track, til it got to the next album, and then it would go through those tracks in order.

Now, i have an iPod touch, which i synced with my iTunes and has the same music on it. When i plug it into the car, and go to a specific artist, every track for that artist is in alphabetical order reguardless of album.

How do i fix this???

I use a touch through an Alpine ipod interface and mine does the same thing, still haven't figured out how to change it so it tiers that way. I actually like it though once I got used to it. You can go in and make a playlist and put the songs in any order you want and they will play in that order, not exactly the same thing but it is another option.
