93-97 speaker baffle's
hey guys well some of you may know what i have a aftermarket sound system in my car. well for the front's i have MB quart component speakers 5 1/4 and they sound GREAT with no modification just screw and and fit. but for the rear door i accidently bought 6 1/2 so i decided i didn't want to exchange them to 5 1/4 like they suppose to be so i said fawk it i'll just put it in. well i was planning to make a baffle out of MDF wood but didn't have time so i just took out the stock baffle and screwed on my 6 1/2 speaker frame onto the outside of the door. they are sitting there fine and very tightly screwed on with no vibration.
well i now want to go back and redo my rear door because they are facing kinda forward and down a bit and i want them to face backwards and up.
how do i make a baffle for the rear door's. i was looking at my door today and realize that #1 the interior of the door is not flat. #2 the original baffle was also a wierd shape and the screws were at different levels(so a flat piece of MDF wood would not work)
also where would be a good place to place my rear tweeters. currectly i have them placed at the far edge where the door opens. but my front passenger is always complaining that its right in the ear.
please help me thanks
