Default Hook up a 12 inch sub as is?

Hey guys, so i recently bought my 98' es300 and the rear 8 inch sub was dead. Here's whats up, I've got two 12's and want to mount one in the trunk.. can i do this with the stereo as is without any damage? Or do i need a bigger amp than the stock one.

Also where is the stock amp located?

Of course its not gonna be at its full potential with a factory amp but it will somewhat do the job...always better go to with a separate amp to power the sub

The amp is located behind the factory radio, your sub could be blown.
