Default (I know its been covered) V1 Hardwire help

Hey everyone, this is one of my first posts on here! I must say that this is a great forum with tons of great informational and eyecandy! Anyways, I know that this has been covered, but I need some help. I plan on buying a valentine v1 in the next few weeks and want to hardwire it. I heard that you could tap the rear-view mirror power. I opened up the hatch and snapped some pics. I want to know which line to tap into for switched power. I heard the purple, but what about the red. Any help would be appreciated! Pics below...

BTW Im looking at the orange connectors wire set... is this even correct?

Yes, 2nd gen gs. It sounds like I should tap the red wire. I just want to make triple sure. This is my first car (so first experience).
