I would like to replace the factory sub (Nak) with a better after market model. I do however, want to make use of the same mounting hole. I know PIONEER makes a 10" free air sub.

Does anyone out there know if this will fit? That damn gas tank is very close to the magnet.

Please help. I would really like to do this soon.

Reuse the frame from the Nak sub, you'll have to cut into it, do a search and you'll find it, if not, i'll post directions.

 

Could you email me the directions or specs? Did you do the same thing to your '95? I like you where you put the amps. That is what I hope to do.

if the stock 10" hole on the 96SC is the same as a GS400, then I know that a 10" JL IB4 would fit just fine, and I would also think that a JL would sound alot better than a pioneer

 

Isnt the sub in the Nak system a Pioneer? I was told by someone at Lexus corporate that the Nak system has the same speakers (tweeter/mid/woofer) as the premium Pioneer stereo, just a Nak amp and head unit. Not sure if its the same in the SC though...

 

Hey guys the jl audio 10IB4 works the best! w/ or w/o the factory amp! I've taken all of the following free air woofers and tested them in 8" an 10" versionson the ES300 and GS400 and LS400:

Kicker
Pioneer
Oz Audio
JL Audio
Orion

And the jl Kicks butt hands down every time!!
