Just bought an 02 sc430 yesterday. I was looking to update the Nav system, but was confused when I read the posts on such from a search I did on the subject. There is all sort of talk of different generation nav systems and such. Does it say anywhere on my nav sys what generation it is? And would it hurt to buy a year old compatible update from someone here or is it better to just bite the bullet and buy new?

One other question, is there anywhere to get new keys other than the dealer?
