The 2 I would trust are Stinger and Brax (ARC Audio).

I'd go for the Brax.

As for running a cap, I really don't need one. 1400 watts of power and I'm using 10 watts total...if that. That explains why I still have good ears!

RC's caps are pretty good. Stinger has his name on them. Those are good. Gotta give props when they are due.

DJ,

Lots of reserve power...just in case I run into a person claiming SQ is for the "weenies". ("Fishman" does this alot...very annoying) Although it won't break over 120db, it's still plenty loud for me. I try to keep it around 70 to 80db.

Thats why I got 2 12's instead of 1...no SQ for weenies complsains any more. I hate blasting it but the occasional traffic-light db drag can be fun. Problem is that you can't hear a thing outside of my car unles windows are open...that sounddeadening makes me happy.

Thumbs up Caps

DJ - I've had lots of years of good luck with Stinger caps ( both of mine R Stinger 1 farad HRRC caps with the digital readout ). Brax probably had the first digital cap & I know their quality is top notch as well. RF's R good, too - figure that they're trying to corner the market with their purchase of Lightning Audio.
Justin - I paid about $150 per capacitor for mine & that's at dealer cost ( well, 2 years ago it was ). U can get the caps w/o readouts for about half that.
FWIW - IMO, in a power for dollar basis it's hard to beat the Alumipro C.A.P. It gives ya 15 farads for about $300 & more power won't hurtcha - especially with the L7's Justin's running!!
