It isn't apart right now and I do not have time currently to take it all apart to take pictures. BUT, I can explain fairly well how it's wired up.

The blue wire with a white stripe has been spliced into with speaker wire, and run to the amp as a turn on signal. It works. I have power running from the battery through the firewall. The ground is working and I found it under the rear seat. The RCA's are also plugged in correctly on both ends. Then I have the speaker wire from the amp to the sub which is also being run correctly on both ends. The amp turns on and I know for the fact the speaker is in working condition. Maybe the RCA's are old? I know the last time they worked was about 4 years ago...Not sure if that could be it though. I'll take pictures of the amp in about an hour or so so you can see what I'm working with exactly.

Damn....attempted to install my deck today and it's looking like a failure. Not sure why I thought it would go smoothly with the Nakamichi. I hate days off where I get nothing accomplished, PC Richards told me $45 to install it so I'm going to go there in a couple hours and just pay to get it done. I used to be good at this stuff, but this Nakamichi system has so many wires going into it I don't even know what to do.

I wired a double din radio and it powers on but no sound at all...the speakers seem to be wired correctly. When I turn the volume all the way up and turn the power off I hear a pop from the speakers. Any thoughts on what the problem is???

define "correctly" - did you follow the steps in this thread? how are your speakers
"wired correctly"?

So the harness from the radio, where did you make the speaker connections?

So far I've traced an pulled out the entire Nakamichi wiring including the car phone. There are a few extra wires from the Trac/ABS included.

So just to be clear, you connected the speaker wire output from your aftermarket head unit's wiring harness to the OEM speaker wire inputs in the OEM harness behind the radio area?

Yes that's correct... any thoughts on what it could be?

Dude, did you even read the How-To or did you just post your question in here to get a quick answer? It's explained in the How-To why that doesn't work. It's because of the external OEM amp.
