2001 Lexus LX 470 amplifier

2001 Lexus LX 470 amplifier
Hi all
I am looking for a replacement amplifier for my Lx 470. I read a post earlier and a person said they were able to find one on ebay for $89. He further said that the amp for the GX is the same one. Im not sure of this but if it is it would be good to know as I just contacted my local dealer who told me I could exchange my old amp for a new one at the cost of $699.00. As this is, all be it still a nice truck, it is old! I cant see myself paying so much for this part but I sure miss the music......

Where is the AMP
I had the exact same problem with my ML system in the 2001 LX 470. I want to replace it but can not even find the AMP. I have looked under both front seats and can not find it. Can anyone tell me where it is located?
