Default VLM- direct digital hookup - with sat?

Is it correct that the VLM will hook up directly with the 2008 ML system - a direct digital input without passing through any analogue box - that is, no RCA connectors? If that is correct, can I do a setup with XM and VLM while maintaining the direct digital input of the VLM or do I have to route the VLM throught the XM box analog/rca input/outputs?
thx

Are you talking about VML - MultiMediaLinQ from VAIS Technology? Or is there another device with VLM part number?

If you are talking about our part numbers: XM interface has nothing to do with VML hook up, it'll be connected separately to your radio. VML is not a direct digital input, it's a high end quality analog input, and NO we don't use RCA connectors. VML plugs into your radio using 12 pin port on the back and it has a USB port on it for any mass storage device connection.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
