Default GS430 Audio Help:

Basically I was wondering if these 6 1/2 (Infinity Kappa 6.5" Component Speaker System, Perfect 6.1) would fit in the front door speaker holes of my 2003 GS430 (with Navi)? And if the hole isn't big enough would a spacer make it work?

Description off os site:

This Perfect 6.1 system is a two-way design that consists of a pair of 6-1/2" mid/woofers, two 1" dome tweeters and a sophisticated crossover network. Quality construction is evident in the aluminum cones and die-cast baskets of the mid/woofers, as well as the aluminum cones and rubber surrounds of the tweeters. Power-handling capacity is 100 watts rms or 400 watts peak.

Versatile tweeter mounting system allows flush, angled or surface mounting
Outboard crossover uses a Linkwitz-Riley acoustic alignment to divide frequencies precisely between the drivers
Crossover features adjustable tweeter level
Crossover frequency: 3.5 kHz with a 24 dB per octave slope
Frequency response: 75 Hz to 23 kHz, plus or minus 3 dB
Input impedance: 4 ohms
Sensitivity: 90 dB
Mounting depth: 2-3/4" for mid/woofers and 1" for tweeters

Thanks

I have the 6.1 in my gs430 front doors.... I also got the cheaper but very shallow reference series, it easily fit the back. It is blown and I will try this
Kicker CompVT 08CVT654 for the rear.

i just bought the ABS plastic inserts from ebay that converts the 4" to 6 1/2".
it's a perfect fit and very easy install. i think it was like $30-40 bucks front and rear.
