Default EIGHT Layers of RAAMmat!!!!

Great pics- do your trunk lifters still work, or will you need to upgrade them?

As an SC owner, I am very jealous of all the trunk space you have to play with!

I removed the tension bars that lift the trunk. I will put some shocks (similar to hood shocks) to lift up my trunk. Subs are in today, gonna take a few pics soon.

Mumbles, I can stuff a lot more there if I cut them in pieces....muahahaha!

Question No Motorization?

Retro - Gonna be an awesome system when ( IF!! ) U finish it. We both know it's never REALLY completed!! Not gonna use any actuators to open the trunk? Select Products offers some linear ones that will handle 75# ( that's what I have on my amp racks ). Maybe I've just seen too many of Fishman's installs - damn, that guy's in every magazine on the newstand!

how do those sound in IB they arent made for that.....

you should seal them up, then they would slam

right now im in the process of doing the exact same thing with my W7's, but it will be sealed w/ a window instead.

They are made for freeair applications. As a matter of fact main Image Dynamics demo car (Fred Lynch's VW) has 4 of them running IB.

I am not after SPL, I just need clean fast bass that would be loud. From what I witnessed, IB application provides that. Also Matt from ID was looking at my car a few times and told me that he would do the same thing. I guess I can tell you whats up when I listen to it in a few days.

oh i really though they would be best sealed up, but if you just want a bit of thump ib would work, you should have just gotten one and sealed it, you would get the same output if not more, with the same or better sound and save you about 300bucks...but it looks sweet as hell so either way its real nice, what amps are you puttin on em?

Sealed is louder but I liked the IB better as far as quality of this sub goes. With 2 of them I get both, loudness and the exact sound that I want. Putting an ARC Audio 1500DR on them...click on a link in my sig...there is a diagram there.
