How to program key? Please help!

I just got my spare key from the dealer and It needed to be programed, does anyone have a DIY on how to do it? Thanks a lot...

Year? Type? The search button is your friend. I found this thread, but have no idea if it will actually work for your particular car - mostly because you didn't say what you have.

there is a website that tells you how to program factory keys for most makes / models ill have to get it from work

Smart key

I found a key smith .He hooked to the computer and read the key .Then programed the smart key.My Lexus dealer in knoxville ,tn. told me about the Lock Smith.

I did this once on a GS300

I think if you have the master key,
You get into the car and lock the doors.(do not open the door while you do this)

You put the key in the ignitiion
turn it to the on position.
Unlock and Lock the doors 10 times.
