Attack of the RCA cables!!!!!!!
I got a new headunit for my truck, a Valor ITS-700w.
It has coming out its ***, 2 sets of rca OUT(right and left), and one Line OUt Subwoofer.
My Amp, Kicker400.1 has one RCA out (Right and left). WHen I connect the amp to one of the sets on the HU the subs work wife, but I cant control them with the Sub Woofer Setting on the headunit. So I'm trying to get it to work on the Line OUt Subwoofer Cable. I bought a Y adapter and attached both right and left into one cable and plugged it into the Line OUr Subwoofer cable, and now theres no SUBS at all!

Use the sub "line-out" from the HU and use that Y-adapter to go to your amp like you already have. You also need to put the EQ in "user" mode to adjust the sub channel and increase it so you hear bass from your subs.
