My mouth is still open from the first picture of this beautiful install. I also use to do car stereo installs when Audio Control and MB Quart was ****zel. I have to say this is extremely well done, and my hat is off to you. Keep the pictures coming if there is anything further coming after.

Nice install! Wrapping up my install with XR 6.5s front and back and a 10l5 ported in back. I'm tempted to take the plate off the backseat like you did. Have you listened too it with that off yet? - Brandon

Replaced my battery today. Did a ton of research on batteries before I bought this one. I looked at them all. Optima, Odyssey, Stinger, you name it. Most battereies being built out there are made by a company called Enersys. I spec'd a Stinger battery Model 1500 that I wanted but it was close to $300.00. Talked to the company and they make the Odyssey, Stinger and Diehard Platinum. All specs for all three battereies are the same along with there casing. I had a coupon for Sears so I got the Platinum for less than $180.00. I had to replace the factory battery tray and mounting hardware to mount it like I wanted. Stock mount wouldn't work. Cut the poles down to make everything look a lot nicer along with doing my Big 2. Most of my dimming went away but still have a little with everything on. May install a small battery in the trunk. Here's the pics.

Second pic. You can see some of the new loomed wiring and the 150 amp Stinger circuit breaker mounted to the factory fuse box cover.

Total ideas for my new stereo system to replace my factory, worn out system in my SC400. Excellent work!

Bumping this thread because there's just not a lot of install info for our cars.

Everything is kind of in limbo. I did install a Gentex rear view mirror I need to post pics of. It's hot as hell here in Texas right now so not a lot going on on the install.

How much modification was necessary to fit the door skins over the 6.5" mids? I have been looking at a set of 6.5" Rainbows, but the only installs that I've seen require the grill to be removed and the door hacked up.
