Installing Pioneer Avic into my SC400 the right way... Questions...
Did some research... First off wiring.
I am fully capable of doing the wiring... Its just I want the right plugs connectors.
Is this what I am looking at?
http://www.installer-parts.com/by_item.php?it=70-8112
I heard that I only use the big one (15 pin). Does this ALSO control the subwoofer? If not do they make a connector for that? Do I need to use a line level for that?
This harness will allow me to hook up my headunit to the stock Nakamichi amplifier, subwoofer, and speakers correct?
=============================================
Second part... Dash Mounting...
Is it confirmed that METRA is making a SC400 double din dash kit for December?
If not... with some modifying is it basically taking the way my Nakamichi stock unit mounts into the car and adapting that onto my Pioneer Avic? I was going to use the stock Nakamichi faceplate and cut/bondo/paint it to fit over the new headunit like CleanSC did.
Let me know, thanks!

Nice price on that. So I guess for the factor subwoofer input on the amplifier I would need to use a "RCA-Plug-to-Lugs Speaker Cable"?

I think you're right.
For the subwoofer (assuming you have the Pioneer "Premium Sound System"), it looks like you need to tap into pins 1 and 5 of the "D" harness. I'm sure you've studied this great wiring diagram:
http://www.intellexual.net/faq/lexusstereo.swf
I'm considering installing the same Pioneer AVIC in my girlfriend's car, so I've been poking around to see if I can wire it. It all looks possible, theoretically, assuming you can use the pre-amp and sub outputs on the back of the AVIC.
Let us know how your install goes. Good luck!
