...many refurbished at the same price as this new unit. It's possible some refurb could cost more. Always check.

Question to anyone that can answer: I'm a noob and never done any installation (will do it anyway because I'm like that...LOL). I'm running the RCA from the head unit to the trunk of the car, what RCA spec do I need? R6? r59? Will usining a component cable work or is there a specific RCA cable to run the preout? How about running a Cat5/6 cable instead of RCA (then modify the ends of it)?
Because of the harsher environments in the car I recommend going with some decent premade RCA cables. There's really no different specs to them but I believe there is a difference in component cables (Red, Green, Blue) used for video compared to RCAs used for audio. Just go with the audio ones and you'll be fine. You'll see a range of prices and to many people they won't be able to tell the difference in $50 ones or $20 ones. Although I'm running JL Audio RCAs I recommend www.knukonceptz.com. Just about everyone who has gone with them have nothing but good things to say. Good products at excellent prices.

Yeah, that's a good price for only $350.00 on ebay new (using live can be had for $322). I should have bought that one instead.
