Default Mark Levinson on Ebay

So my buddy 01 GS 430 having that bad Amp issue, u know where the radio don't come on after pushing the button, then all of the sudden. Boom, It's on at full blast. There was a TSB on it awhile back. Well, His is out of warranty and needed to replace the amp. We found several Mark Levinson Amps on Ebay for less then 150.00 for lexus GS, LS and LX. Well, he ordered on for his car, of course they are used and some are listed as new. We keep you informed on the quality of the amp once it's recieved and installed. Wish us luck.

Nate,

If you have no further use of the old amp, I'd like to take a look at it and the internals. There have been way too many ML amp burnouts and problems for my liking. Even the Pioneer/Nak amps don't burn out as easily.

Let me know.

No problem Percy, we just hope that this is not a scam. As u know Lexus charge a huge amount of money for their amps. We are hoping that this not a scam of some sort but 125.00 is still alot better than 500.00-1,000.00. This particular seller have a few different ML amps at a reasonable price $100-150 used. Claims they were removed from wrecked cars. Anyway I will keep you posted it should arrive some time next week. Knock on wood my GS is holding on but I might pick one up as a spare. New ones on ebay are going for 399.00 still cheap.

Yes we did, actual price paid was $125.00 plus shipping. You can tell it was used. We plugged it in and she fired right one up w/ no problem. My friend was estatic. Especially after saving $900 and some change I would be too. Anyway as you have seen there are some new amps by ML for Lexus starting to show up on Ebay running about $400. But I will be emailing him in case I need another one. He comes by some amps from wrecked lexuses and usually post them on ebay. Make sure they have a return policy. The ole amp went to Percy for autopsy.

I run my system heavily often and usually the amp in the back is very hot to the touch.
Should i go ahead and have the dealers change out the amp and sub so they will last longer in the long run?

You can give it a shot, but most dealers won't replace anything unless there is a SOLID failure. Being hot to the touch probably won't cut it with them.

He doesnt respond. I bought the 0W330 amp...It doesnt fit in my IS350(non-ML). Wiring harness was different. I may try to remap the wires to see if I can get it working

Its New looking though. I think it is from a newer car due to the Blue input

If someone know the model nu,ber for the IS350... that would be helpful
