Default Eclipse AVN 6620 VS... of course the Avic-D3

What do you guys think? I'm going to get it around January but wanted everyone's input. Please post pictures of your 6620 or D3.

Thanks

Yes sir. But from what I heard the new Z3 and the F series is having problems... so I don't know. I'm leaning more towards the D3

As i live in europe...i havent got much knowledge about Eclipse. I do, however, have frst hand knowledge about most other 2-DIN units that are sold here

The D3 is now discontiniued...and, in europe at least, is now called F900. And most importantly the navi is HD-based..not DVD as the D3.

i would choose eclipse due to the similarity between the ones used by Lexus. All of the functions on eclipse are basically, identically the same.

i have the 6600 and will be upgrading to 6620 in a couple of weeks, and w/ 6620 you can also get the front view camera + bt phone function. so basically the same as the lexus lx570... gl

i've had the 6620 for about 6 months now. No problems whatsoever. I'm very pleased with the looks, reliabliltiy and sound quality. The navigation has worked flawlessly and is very user friendly.

I have a thread about my install somewhere...............

I actually really like the D3, the only thing that bugs me is that you need to cd to activate the navi, but whatever the d3 looks badass

thanks for the reply. I got the Avic-f90bt waiting to be installed . I heard problems about the f90 but they just came out with the 2.0 firmware to fix most of the problem soo yeah.

I love the D3, except for the fact that it needs the Cd for Nav...other than that it is a sweet unit.
