i recently bought a new deck and it came with the metra 70-8112 harness..which is the amp integration..so i have to keep the factory amp (will it sound better without it?) which means i have to use the remote turn on for that amp. but i am trying to install some subs with new amp..can i just connect both turn on wires to the one coming from the new deck? or do i have to find another way to turnon the sub's amp...and also does anyone know which wire is the dimmer wire? i have a 94 LS400 - thanks!

 

yes connect your aftermarket remote turn on wire to the same remote wire on the head unit that you are connecting to turn on the factory amp.... you can also use the acc wire, but it's better to use the remote wire...
