Default Good Remote Wire Location

I have read many post's about where are people are running their amplifier remote wire. It seems that the general consensus is to connect it to the 12 V cigarette adapter. Others stated they receive a burp from the subs because that powers on before the stereo. Does anyone have a good location for a power source or maybe a remote location for the factory amplifier>? Thank you in advance!

Yeah. Read the subwoofer link in my signature line. There's a remote wire on the amp. The wire sits on the corner of the small harness leading to the factory amp. If I recall correctly it's the thin brown wire for 2016 models and for older models its the thin blue one. Check with multimeter

Do you happen to know which wire I should tap into on the 2017 model? I don’t have brown wire, connections are different for mine
