Please help with clarion head unit?
I just bought clarion vrx575usb, but i want to use my factory amplifier.
Does anyone know where can i get a cable conveter pre amp?
The cable is connect from aftermarket head unit to factory amp harness..
i could not find everywhere.
please help????

from your profile it looks like you have a 1994 es300.
you need a dash kit for it. metra PN is 99-8150, the harness you need is metra PN 80-8112. you can get both of those parts at any local circuit city or best buy. the harness they should stock for sure. dash kit might be a special order. at the circuit city i work at we stock the es300 kit.
the harness is usually 15 bucks and the dash kit is about 20 bucks.

since you have an SC there is a small problem. the harness that i listed works. im currently using that same one in my sc300 5spd. the problem is that no one makes a dash kit for our cars. the factory stereo is like a 2.25 or 2.5 din. you can get a single din deck as you have and a storage pocket. this will cover up most of the space. then you can get creative and make a filler plate for the remaining space.
