Smile SC400 Radio problem

I have am SC400. So far the radio, tape, and cd have been working with sometimes cd getting stuck. That is a known issue with these systems. Anyway this morning when i turned the radio on, it would not respond. There was nothin in the display and nothing happened. I turned the car off and restarted and bunch Fs and other a few other letters like P E I, came on. The system still did not respond. I was able to eject the cd cartridge. It seeme like it sort of locked. I have been usiung the system with no issues. Have changed the battery too with no issue. Any idea what am I dealing with?

Could just be that one of the wires for the radio is shorting out or is not connected that good right now to the rest of the car. I could sell you another head unit for 100 obo in about another week after I install my new touchscreen.

Invest in another headunit. (with a built in amp)

Free air sub that fits in the stock location, and separate amp to control it.

Or it may be your amp giving you problems.

About to give you this advice. The radio doesn't completely reset just by the ignition. I would have recommended you remove all the fuses for the radio under the hood and wait a minute or two. FYI for next time.
