Where do you mount your iPod?

..and ideally where would you like to mount it?

Share your mounting pics.

Seems like there's no really good place to mount the iPod/MP3 player where it is not hanging out on top of the gear shifter or dash cubby hole etc.

I have this setup. Its a 1st gen nano, so it just chills in the shift boot and doesn't get in the way.

Buy a new headunit that lets you navigate the iPod via the HU's controls, so that you can stow away the iPod anywhere you like...as i have done

I have my iPod (and a USB memory stick) stowed away in the armrest compartement...

^^^ what he said... Ive got a nice Pioneer radio with the ipod module so i tuck my ipod away behind the glovebox. Its velcro'd so i only have to take it down to upload new music and its also stowed away from theifs.
