Thanks guys I could really use some numbers; this box is too boomy and very low-end responsive for me. I also realize that some subs require more space, but I'm trying to get a general feel here.
Check the manual that came with your subwoofers or the company's website to find the recommended airspace for your subs. If you are trying to go for "less boomy" or less low-end response, you also could try to switch to 10" subs. They won't hit as low as the 12" subs.
