Default Accuracy (Position)

What does that term mean in GPS Navigation systems? I see a lot of <7m or <10m. The higher the number, means better accuracy right?

radius of a circle from where you appear on the map in relation to where you should be in real life.

ie, <7m means you should be within a 7m radius (14m diameter) circle in real life in relation to where you appear on the map.

therefore the lower, the MORE accurate your position is.

Ok, so I'll look for a navigation system that has a low accuracy number. I'm looking off of Newegg's website and they have tons of navigation systems for cars. It's tough choosing which one because Magellan, Garmin, TomTom, and Navigon all seem to make good systems.

TomTom looks rather bulky, but great styling and features. I hear Magellan and Garmin are just proven navigation systems since they've been around much longer. What a tough choice. Navigon is suppose to be a new company that's been out for a few years. I hear their OS is crap and slow to respond, but their maps are super cool to look at and the outer casing is really slick.
