Few questions about my ml system

First off I dont know if its just me, but my volume varies when I switch from the radio to a cd. Is this normal? Lets say im listening to the radio at a certain volume and when I switch over to a cd it sounds a lot louder. Is it because of quality of the sound source?

Second of all is there a way to make the system any louder? Its a pretty decent sounding system, but there are times where I have it maxed out and its not to the point where you have to turn it down or your ears will ring

..I just want it a little bit louder so that I dont have to max it out.

And lastly, if I dynamat my entire drunk will it help with the bass and overall sound considering we have the stock 10 in back? Or is it a better choice to switch out the stock sub to something else?

1) Quality of sound source.

2) Press the audio button on the right side of the paneling towards the passenger side. You can gain access to the audio equalizer.

3) Don't know.
