Use an LOC (Line Output Converter) on the rear channels. The amp is located behind the rear seats on the right side. It is sort of under a false floor between the rear seat and cargo area. If you move the rear seats all the way forward, remove the cargo carpeting, you can access the amp. I don't recall which color wires were for the rear channels, but once you locate them, add the LOC, then simply connect your subwoofer amp, or amplified subwoofer to the LOC.
Obviously that is just the gist of it. You need to take time to hook up the amp for the sub, run your wires, find the correct rear channel speaker wires and such.

is the spare tire mounted under the car or under the panels? im thinking about building a fiberglass enclosure under the floor

Under the car. There is a lot of space under the hatch floor. You will have tons of room to build a false floor and pretty much put whatever you want under there without loosing any cargo space. The only thing you will loose is some of the under floor storage compartments and the tool tray.Originally Posted by AM1

Okay, but what color are the speaker wires from the stereo to the stock amplifier? Never mind finally found it out. Now just have to figure out the remote power and where to route the main power for the extra amp. Then we'll know if I made the speaker connections right.
