I PUT A AFTER MARKET AMP REPLACING THE SMALL AMP THAT CAME IN MY 91 LEXUS I ALSO REPLACED THE REAR SUB WOOFER WITH A 200 WATT SUB WOOFER AND USED SILCONE TO SEAL THE SPEAKER AND WOW IT ALMOST BLOWS OUT THE REAR DECK. THE REAR AMP ONLY DRIVES A REAR SPEAKER IN THE REAR DECK WHICH IS 2 OHMS DONT TRY AND REPLACE A 4 OHM SPEAKER WITH THE ORIGNAL AMP IT WONT WORK I GOT A 200 WATT AMP AND A SPEAKER ABLE TO HANDLE 200 WATTS AND IT REALLY CRANKS I SET THE VOLUME CONTROL ON THE AMP LOW AS NOT TO OVER DRIVE THE OTHER SPEAKERS. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!

i think someone is trying to do that right now. i think it would be a lot of work since you have to make the climate control wires longer. but hey if someone can do it. that would be hella sick i would so be up for a double din kit inside my car. i have a fold out 6.5 right now that covers the climate control.
