Stock Sub Replacement for 2002 GS430 ML
Hey Everyone,
My stock sub cracked and I need another one. I'm looking to just replace the sub with the Rockford P1S410 10" Punch Subwoofer. My question is will the ML amp be enough to provide power for this or should I get a seperate sub amp to power this thing. I'm not looking to BUMP nor do I want this thing to crack because it's underpowered. Thoughts?

I'm not too sure if the RF sub can work in free air applications.
I would suggest either look for a free air sub or buy the RF sub and build an enclosure for it.
As far as the factory amp, I would not suggest using it for the aftermarket sub. I'm no expert for ML systems but I'm pretty sure its not up to par to power an aftermarket sub...I may be wrong however.
Here's a few subwoofers that can be used as free air form ED:

I've used their subs in the past with excellent results
