soundgate ipod interface interfering with navigation. Please help!!!
Help, i bought a SOUNDGATE ipod interface installed into my IS350 car.. after a few months i could not control my ipod through my steering wheel anymore. My ipod still works, but i cannot control anything through the steering wheel. I tried to get it fixed but in turn, the stupid guy ended up making my navigation system bad. So basically what happens now is when i enter a destination point on my navigation, the voice on the route guidance will only give partial sentences with every guidance. Occasionally when my ipod DOES work from the steering wheel, then the Navigation will make complete sentences, but most of the time when it doesnt the navigation will not complete the sentence..Any suggestions or does anyone else have this problem???

Since the NAV seems to work fine when the iPod controls are working, it seems to me your iPod interface is still not happy. It is made by Vaistech, which many of us have, so you might look for that term rather than Soundgate in your search here. Also, have a look over at the www.vaistech.com site's chat area, as they delve into all sorts of sticky issues, and Vais technical help is there, too.
