Big Rich,
Your car must be really weighed down...........That is a lot of speaker. I am looking at One maybe two installed. don't want to lose my trunk or acceleration. Where did you have to foam? And I guess you dynaMatted the trunk as well as the rear deck?

Weighed down big time.. It kinda looks like I lowered the back! I had to foam under the car all around the gas tank. As far as the dynamatting, its all over the trunk.. But I can feel my music!

not sure what will work work best for your trunk (dont know about your car's transfer functoin), but if you have the resources, try:

aperiodic bichamber box (nice flat, wide freq range response)

aperiodic (good output/sq out of a fairly small box)

horn loaded enclosure (really hard to calculate, may take a couple tries, but you wont be disappointed, works best with an open cab)

then theres the typical sealed, ported, bandpass enclosures (which are a lil easier to build/calculate).

Default triple 12 set up

i am going to put 3 12 inch Orion XTR Dvc's in my trunk and i can't find a ported box on the internet for 3 12's. Am i going to have to spend an arm and a leg on a custom box, or is there anywhere that i can get a ported box online for 3 12 inch XTR's. I got all the dimensions off the Orion website for these subs, so im thinking about going down to a local shop and asking them to build me a custom box if i can't find one online. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. Id really appreciate it.
