Default Finished my SC400 trunk! *PICS*

After a few weeks of coming in on the weekends and evenings, I finally finished my trunk in the SC400. Well, it'll never really be finished but you get the idea.

That looks amazing man. VERY clean. I'm guessing your spare tire is gone. I couldn't live with that But that looks great. Love the matching red enclosure. Neon is pretty cool too. How did you secure the amp rack to the body of the car?

The subwoofer enclosure is pressure fit (because it is fibreglass), and top panel is bolted to the enclosure and the amp rack is bolted to the top panel. The top of the amp rack has 4 metal tabs that are attached to the undersill beneath the window. Yeah, its a bit of a jigsaw puzzle but its very secure and safe.

The amp rack is actually temporary because I will be replacing the outside 2-channel amps for two smaller, more powerful and efficient mono amps. They didn't come in in time so I had to use the two 600.2's for the subs. The neon/ LED's are also temporary as my sign guy hadn't finished my one-piece neon tube in time.

Thanks for the comments guys!

Super nice install!!

Your build should be a writeup for a fiberglass enclosure sticky-- along with a few others that have been done on here--

It looks pretty good. I don't like how the amps look like they just bolted to a piece of wrapped wood and put in the back of the trunk. It would look better with one amp on each side trimmed out and one amp in the middle trimmed out and could be back lit as well. Looks like you were space limited though.
