Hello all, this is my first post after searching and reading for two days.
After reading I was able to do the Ipod mod to my dvd cable. I cut the wires and put in a 4 pole relay. The Ipod sounds great like a cd and I am done with the cassette adapters and modulators. I have a car PC with a touch monitor that I want to hook into the circuit. When I plug it in the sound is bad. With the Lexus amp (balanced) and the PC sound card (unbalanced) I am a little confused what the best way to go to fix this. I have seen several posts about different things but would like some input. Once the car pc sound is wired in I probably wont be using the Ipod. Thanks for all the good info on here. Mike
what sort of car pc is it and does it have a removable pci type card for the audio??? I'm wondering also if the car pc doesn't need some sort of noise isolator on the power lead/ground lead-- or an isolator of some sort--
I've heard of power inverters making noise also-- which many people use to make their own car pc--
