Default Eclipse AVN2210p

So, after some research, I think I've settled on the brand new Eclipse AVN2210p for my dash. I'm having a custom dash with double-din made for $550 from a local audio shop that specializes in custom fab. They said that the Eclipse would have better audio output than either a Kenwood or Clarion...do you guys generally agree? Can you tell me how easy other audio components will be with this head unit? Will it be easy to add amps/speakers, etc? Thanks

Check out the specs here:

5Volt preout is what produces better quality sound, especially when using amplifiers

Will adding this head unit improve my otherwise fully stock audio system, in terms of sound quality?
