Default Navigation into non-Navi GS Help

I am new to lexus so please bare with me...

I own a 2006 GS 300 without navigation but with the monitor that controls A/C, radio, etc. I want to get navigation for the car, what do i have to do? Is something like the Pioneer avic-88 compatible with the monitor, or possible with work? Or Am i straight out of luck? Simply put, is it possible to hook up a aftermarket navigation unit like the Pioneer Avic-88 to my current OEM screen and have all the touchscreen options with the navi work? Please, any help would be awesome. i tried searching, but couldnt really find anything...Thanks in advance.

the easist solution would be to retrofit the factory 2006 gs300 navigation system. that would look the best aND RETAIN THE TRADE IN VALUE OF THE VEHICLE. did you ever see an aftermarket system in a used lexus in a dealers used car lot? that is because they give such poor trade in price with aftwermarket system installed. retrofitting a factory nav would increase blue book value whereas installing aftermarket would decrese value to even less than a non nav model.
