Default Battery and car audio

Hello,
My name is Will, this is my first post, and I've been a 98 GS400 owner for a little more than a year. I just got my subs put in today. They are 2-12in Kicker Solo Barics and two amps, Kicker ZR360. I know the smart thing to do is probably put some caps so it wouldn't drain the battery fast, but has anyone just straight up run their system from their battery? Thanks in advance for any comments.

you should be fine, just don't run the stereo for very long (if at all) without your car running

Would it be wise to run some sort of cap? or any other alternative so I won't ruin the alternator or drain the battery so quickly?

Extra battery in trunk= Like a yellow top-- I think a deep cycle would get you what you want also, but they only last 2 yrs or so-- The reserve on a deep cycle is awesome-- I'm just not sure how a deep cycle would react to being kept nearly fully charged all the time-- A yellow top or a half-size yellow top might be best-

have your alternator and battery tested at autozone-- test the alt first with the handheld load tester-- easiest way and doesn't require removal of the alt from the car just to test it--

A bad alternator can kill a battery too-- so if the alt's bad have the battery load tested as well--
