Default 2 Simple Lexus Installs

Not so often we get to see a Lexus in the shop. Seems like most everyone seems to be building a stereo for a 350z everywhere lately

Anyway. Did one for a GS300. Really simple SQ10 added.

w/ Grill

And another almost identical for a IS250 which would work the same for a IS350 I imagine.

Looks fairly OE when you aren't looking at the camera flash and I'd like to do something different with the grills down the road but for now works pretty darn good.

That looks sweet... Did you make that yourself? Where did you place the amp?

Ben probably had his company's dedicated installer make the box. He also has workers that make the sub's from scratch as well. If you aren't familiar with the OP, he's the guy in this thread that needs a shave. He's also the owner of Elemental Designs.

Great looking sub install!!!

How big is that sub? 10 or 8 inches? Roughly how much does it cost to do something like that?

Box - link. Total price looks to be $220 + amp + install.

If I can get the cars we can build it no problem.

Both of these went on the website.

Really though. Normally it's just a issue of getting the cars to do the boxes for them. Between these and a s2000 box we're releasing this week it's busy as usual.

Good to see you man. How's life?

Good to see some fimiliar faces here

Did you make that yourself? Where did you place the amp?
We do these in the shop. The installer (the other Ben) is the one responsible for these 2 boxes. The amp for this isn't in the car yet. We've got to get some OE integrated pieces to make that happen. Not sure which route we are going yet.

All these raw boxes come in under 200 w/ carpet matching. We can glass out to fit just about anything in these as long as it works in about .5cF. We can change the front fascia's and things to fit different drivers.

Im good Mr. Ben sir...

Doing a lot of car shows lately...not much work on the Car Audio side at all.

I bet these guys here in CL would LOVE to have boxes made custom fit their IS's and GS's.....it's sooo hard to hire/find good box builders as of late......

Had half a dozen PM's about these things. Thanks for the feedback guys.

To directly answer those questions. It can be built for both sides in the IS right now. We don't have GS to do the other side with but it can fit other drivers. Just a matter of telling us what driver to fit in there and modifying it accordingly which isn't much trouble.

Someone in Iowa drop their 2nd Gen GS so they can make one of these or two for both sides for our trunk and also to get one of their 6.5" components to fit our 4" stock speakers! ! ! I'm pretty sure Ben will give some type of incentive for letting them custom one, right Ben? If anything I may just replace the stock sub with the eD 110v2 subswoofer to get my system upgrade started.

Any model including the ES300 is really no problem. We just need to get the cars here to us to do the enclosure for. Anybody in Iowa? We'd offer a quite substantial discount for letting us use the car. A box like this only takes about a day to design for production but we do need the car for a entire day.

Right now the girl who books cars is working specifically on getting more BMW's and Lexus vehicles. If your anywhere near Iowa let us know. We'd love to work something out. Her email is le@edesignaudio.com.
