I know this could be more appropriately put in the audio section, but i thought id get more feedback on here. I got an iTrip Auto for my iPod to play through and unused FM station in my SC. Ive always hard wired my radar detectors to my fuse box so that i didnt have to have something plugged into my cigarette lighter. I want to hard wire this iTrip to my fuse box for the same reason and wondered if anyone else had done this. I thought id check before i clipped the cigarette lighter end of the wire off. My concern comes because the iTrip is one wire with a transmitter in between the cigarette lighter plug and 30pin plug for the iPod and i didnt want to affect playability by cutting the wire. Thanks in advance for any help
