Default Stereo Problems

I have been having problems with the display on my dash unit. The text will jumble into jibberish every once in awhile and it can usually be solved by turning it off and then back on.

I also have a problem with presets 4-6. It doesn't matter what station is stored in the memory. If I select one of those presets, the music will cut off every 5 seconds for just a split second and then come back. If I scan up or down and then come back to the station it will fix the problem.

However, even if I have scanned up or down and came back to keep it from cutting out.... when i get back into the car and turn the radio on, if it's on presets 4-6... it will still cut out until I do my scanning trick

I was trying to be as descriptive as possible, but it may have just sounded confusing. Presets 4-6 cut on and off, while 1-3 have a lot of static. The text on the screen is jibberish as seen above.

Do you think there is a short somewhere? Or do you think that maybe the antenna is pinched or has a loose connection?
