You'd have to mod the entire power supply, torroids, semiconductors and the whole nine yards. Not worth the time or effort since this would be considered cheating by competition standards. Also, most of the power supply mods (beefier torroids) won't really fit in the space of the stock unit. Reason being is that they planned for a certain size, not for a larger one.

Other mods can be done though.

You guys spend that much money on your system you should have a good headunit to go with it. Hi-lo convertors have some distortion. Lexus have weird shaped dashes but you can still find someone to make a nice face plate.

Talking Too Much!

I've got close to $15k in my system ( RF/Alpine/Focal/Diamond ) but like Percy, Retro, Spyke, et al, my labor is free!! Of course, the chiropractor bill for the contortionist moves I executed doesn't count!! The local shop labor rate is close to $40/hour & I stopped counting LONG ago!!

Gene,

I think I'll have to "hire" some of the young ladies at the college. Most are only 4 foot 9 (cute!) and can fit in small places, unlike us 5 foot 10 guys. Just have to train them not to hook up the wires wrong...
