Question

Hi,
I have a 94 sc300 with the keyfob-key (key with remote built into head)
How hard is it to program a new key to my car?
Can it be done on my own, or is this a dealer only thing?

Thanks
Ken

You can buy the keys from the dealer, mail order from another dealer or via an auction site like e-bay, but I believe you have to go to the dealer to have it programmed.

Figure you'll pay $25-50 for the dealer to program it so you may as well check the price to buy the key from them also (since they'll probably charge more to program it if you didn't buy it from the dealer).
