What are your goals for the audio system? The sub is more for sound pressure level (SPL) than for sound quality. Good sub from what I've been reading though.

Percy. I have to disagree with you on this one. IDMAX is primarily a SQ subwoofer (like any other ID sub). It has a lot of new technology in it and they are fast enough to keep up with any speaker set out there if run sealed (1.3 cubes). I know they work amazingly with Rainbow Refferences which are one of the fastest drivers out there. The cone is very light comparing to any other sub so the speed and the punch is there. I will see wht kind of price I can get for myself (I dont normally buy above dealers cost) and if its lower, I dont want any more MAXES. If its higher then 320 then I will get one.

Those subs are not that loud on the meater when run sealed.
