Hey all,
I have a 96' SC300 and I was turned down by 4 shops saying that they could not install and integrate my alpine w200 double din tv into the factory sound system. I have previous experience with alpine and the factory sound system on my first SC300 however it was a very big "p.i.t.a" so replacing every speaker and losing the stock sub is what became of that experience. I want to keep everything stock sounding "for now" as I cannot stand the cd changer/player in the trunk. I am willing to tackle this if I can have some support here on the forums of any past or present experiences. I just came back from circuit city and they had a metra harness for stock toyota amplified sound systems I bought it as the pin layout seems to look the same. Metra 70-8112 is the part #. Please chime in on any experiences with this or installing a alpine w200 without replacing everything. Thanks
