I have a problem with my new 2007 GX 470. My understanding is that I should be able to show the 1) navigation system and 2) the DVDs from the 6 CD/DVD changer on the back dropdown screen. I can view a DVD put into the rear system in the front, but not the other way around. I've been through the manual countless times. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

 

do you have the rear seat remote? the nav buttons are on the rear seat remote. the rear system is only actuated by the very small 2 inch by 4 inch remote. since the remotes sell for 300 plus dollars at the lexus parts department they always seem to be mysteriously missing and show up on ebay.

 

I am not able to get the map to display on the rear screen as well. Seems to be a design flaw. On my 2003 this was very easy. The dealership is stumped as well. I most likely would not have gotten the rear system had I known this was not possible.
