Default Help Needed - Problem with Rear Seat DVD

I have a problem with my new 2007 GX 470. My understanding is that I should be able to show the 1) navigation system and 2) the DVDs from the 6 CD/DVD changer on the back dropdown screen. I can view a DVD put into the rear system in the front, but not the other way around. I've been through the manual countless times. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

On my '03, all I have to do is hit the "map" button on the remote and the nav screen comes up on the rear display.

Our 07 works the same way as yours, where did you hear that you could use the changer up front to view DVD's in the back?

To answer your question 94SC300TX, I am not sure I did hear you could use the changer for the rear. I guess I don't understand why you would have a DVD changer where you can only view the DVD in park. Also, now that the DVD is no longer in the center console (which was my understanding how my vehicle would be delivered), it is very difficult to change the DVD while driving. I have two small kids that can't reach the rear DVD player when buckled in. Finally, I guess I also thought if you could view the DVD in the rear player upfront, there must be a way to view the front DVD in back. Hopefully someone can confirm.

Cool, I believe the reason that they have a DVD changer up front is that you can store massive amounts of mp3 music on a DVD and listen to it that way. I agree with you though, it would be nice to be able to load the changer with DVD movies for the RSES so that you don't have to reach up and swap them yourself while driving or have to pull over to do so.

Kempf, can you view DVD movies in the front changer on the front display (when parked)? If so, can you (when parked) have 2 different movies playing (one in front, one in rear)?
