Most of the threads i have found on the CD changer are ancient. So hopefully something new has cropped up.

Quite honestly i dont like the 12 CD changer. It's slow changing songs, skips over small bumps and is even slower changing CD's.

I'd like to know if there is a better solution that is compatible with the Nakamichi premium audio solution. I'm driving a 98.

If not, is there a head unit out there that will play MP3's off of a DVD-R? I know i'd have to replace ALL the speakers to go from 8ohm to 4ohm impedance. I believe i have to replace the speakers anyway, since they have crackle when i pump the volume, and the Bass is lacking from the factory sub.
