Hey everyone I posted a post in the audio section and did a search for a resolution but couldn't find anything really specific to my problem. Here's the link to the my post: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...80#post2309380 As mention in my post this is the first time my cd player has stopped working, not jammed, no error codes, but just stopped playing. When I insert the cd's I can hear it going through the cd's but I can't get the car into 'CD' mode. Any ideas???

 

Problem fixed. Well it's working again, I'll say that. I just let the car sit for about an hour and it's working fine now. Does anyone know what this means, will I need to get another one because it's starting to go bad or what?

 

Sometimes when an AMP overheats or goes into protection, it will need to be shut off for a little bit and it turns back on when it gets back to operating conditions. Did the RADIO work at this time? If so, then forget the theory above.

This is definitely a possiblity

 

Yes, the radio was working fine the entire time. I don't know hope this doesn't happen again at least anytime soon.
