you do, you just have to get a very small dual sealed 12" box, shallow and wide

like i said my friends who work at stereo shops think my ish sound good but it use to bump more in a ported box but no trunk room left. now if yiou have money and realy want your ish to thump, then go with one 12w7ported and jl 1000-1 amp that will be enough, i think i am going with that speaker or a t1 since i already have a punch amp. yea 2 12's fit in that space and w6's work best in odds. 1 or 3 subs. i have a friend that had two w6's and my w3's bumped more than his.

what you said doesnt make sense. w6s do not work best in odds, and the fact that your w3s were louder does not have anything to do with 1 or 3 subs. it has to do with the install, power delivery and enclosure type. 2 w6v2 will be louder than 2 w3 if they are powered correctly. w6 will also be cleaner and deeper.

i agree though, that 1 w7 would be ok too. but you will definately need a custom box made for that. while as you can just use prefab for 2 12".

Well im planning on doing a resin/fiberglass case myself like the one found here: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...TID=74519&PN=1, and i have another question, whats the big deal about how big you make it volume wise, i know it has to be big enough to hold the sub, but is that it? Is there a certain size its supposed to achieve optimim performance?

Now, now, lets not limit ourselves to JL's, are there any other good suggestions?

this was with the older w6's so you might be right, but you have more options with the w3's because of the many ohms that can be set up. it is realy up to what you have powering them. also punch makes good subs, i think t1 might even be better than w7. there are alot of subs out there that will sound great if they are set up right.

each type of sub, meaning jl, punch, orion, ect.. have driffrent demands of air space require to sound at optimum level. when you buy the speaker you want, the owners manual will give you the required air space for that speaker. so i would go off that to make sure your system sound right. T1 are made by rockford fosgate.

i did everything my self, box, unit, amp, changer, the hole thing. now my amp is in the trunk under the carpet on the right side. but you should find your own place because amps are not always the same size. i will post picks of my finished work.
